Ingredients:

-1 large head of garlic

-1 cup North Coast Apple Sauce

-1 tsp salt

-2 TBSP olive oil

-¼ cup of chives

-Sourdough or French baguette

Directions:

-Preheat oven 400 degrees.

-Slice the top off your head of garlic until you can see the tops of each clove.

-In an oven safe dish, smother the head of garlic in olive oil and cover with foil

-Cook for 40 min or until entire head is golden brown

-Squeeze each clove out of peel into a food processor or blender.

-Add apple sauce and salt, then blend until completely smooth.

-Transfer to small serving dish and drizzle another TBSP of olive oil on top.

-Slightly warm/toast sliced baguette and serve with a garnish of chopped chives.
