North Coast Turkey Cranberry Meatballs with Cranberry Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or ground pork rinds for a gluten-free option
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp rosemary chopped
  • 1 tsp sage chopped
  • ¼ cup onion grated
  • 2 tbsp North Coast Apple Sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup cranberries dried

Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Add all ingredients for meatballs to a large bowl and combine thoroughly.
  • Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Roll meatballs into small 2 inch balls and place on a wire baking rack. Place wire baking rack on top of baking sheet to catch drippings. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • In a small saucepan add cranberries, apple cider or juice, apple sauce, honey and fennel. Cook on medium heat until cranberries pop and sauce is reduced down, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Let cranberry sauce cool and stir in mayonnaise to combine.
