North Coast Turkey Cranberry Meatballs with Cranberry Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
Meatballs
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs or ground pork rinds for a gluten-free option
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp rosemary chopped
- 1 tsp sage chopped
- ¼ cup onion grated
- 2 tbsp North Coast Apple Sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup cranberries dried
Sauce
- ½ cup cranberries
- 1 tbsp North Coast Apple Cider or Juice
- 2 tbsp North Coast Apple Sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 orange zest
- 1 tbsp chopped fennel optional
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Add all ingredients for meatballs to a large bowl and combine thoroughly.
- Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Roll meatballs into small 2 inch balls and place on a wire baking rack. Place wire baking rack on top of baking sheet to catch drippings. Bake for 20 minutes.
- In a small saucepan add cranberries, apple cider or juice, apple sauce, honey and fennel. Cook on medium heat until cranberries pop and sauce is reduced down, approximately 10 minutes.
- Let cranberry sauce cool and stir in mayonnaise to combine.
