Butter Batter Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter at room temperature
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
For the cocktail:
- 1/3 cup rum
- 1 tsp butter batter
- 3/4 cup hot North Coast Apple Cider
Directions:
Combine the first six ingredients and mix well to form a paste. Scoop the mixture out onto a piece of plastic wrap and roll into a log shape. Wrap it tightly and place in the fridge or freezer to harden. You’re going to want to keep this on hand throughout the holiday season! When ready to make a drink, pour the rum and butter batter into a mug and fill with hot apple cider. Stir and garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired. Can also easily be made in a crock pot for holiday celebrations.
