Made extra special with an apple cider reduction, these cookies are so full of flavor and will melt in your mouth with bursting chunks of decadent dark chocolate.

Ingredients:

½ cup North Coast Apple Cider Reduction (see recipe below)

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter, at room temperature

1 cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar, packed

2 eggs

1 10oz bag of Enjoy Life Mega Chunk semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°. To make the cider reduction, bring 2½ cups of apple cider to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until you are left with ½ cup of liquid. Set aside to cool. In a small bowl, combine the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. In a large bowl, beat the butter and both sugars on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy.  Add the cider reduction and eggs to the bowl and beat on medium until combined. Stir in the flour mixture with a spatula until combined. Add the chocolate chunks. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Drop by rounded tablespoons on to baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake until the edges are just slightly golden browned, about 14 minutes, making sure to rotate the pans halfway through the baking time. Immediately transfer to a wire rack for cooling.
