This quick and easy, moist and mouthwatering Caramel Apple Sauce Coffee Cake is made with North Coast Organic Apple Sauce and topped with a sweet, crunchy walnut streusel. Hello Fall, it’s so great to see you again!

Ingredients

Coffee Cake

4 Tbsp butter, softened

1 1/3 cup flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

3 eggs

1 cup North Coast Apple Sauce 

1 tsp vanilla

Streusel Topping

4 Tbsp butter

1/3 cup flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup walnuts, chopped finely

Caramel Drizzle

Directions

Coffee Cake

Preheat the oven to 375°. Butter and flour a 9”x13” pan and set aside.

In a bowl, cut the butter into the flour using a pastry blender.

Using a stand or hand mixer, add the rest of the ingredients and beat until well combined and creamy.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and prepare the streusel.

Streusel Topping

In a bowl, cut the butter into the flour using a pastry blender until the butter resembles small peas.

Stir in the remaining ingredients until thoroughly combined.

Spread the streusel evenly over the top of the batter.

Place on center rake in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Let cool for 30 minutes before drizzling caramel sauce.
