Trail Mix Recipe
Well, it's actually a peanut butter and APPLESAUCE granola recipe but we took it one step further, combining the granola with our favorite nuts and toppings. You can do the same, personalizing it with your favs and must haves, to create your own special snack. It's no wonder snacking with trail mix has been a thing for more than a century!

- 1 Baking sheet
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rolled Oats
- 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup North Coast Organic APPLESAUCE
- 2 tbsp Coconut Oil melted
- 1/4 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the maple syrup, APPLESAUCE, coconut oil, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon.
- Pour the wet ingredients over the oats and mix until thoroughly moistened.
- Spread the oats evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for 50 minutes, turning every 15 minutes or so to prevent scorching, until golden brown.
- Let sit until completely cooled to room temperature. Store in an airtight container.
