There’s no doubt that pure 100% maple syrup belongs on every breakfast table and included in recipes galore, but have you been introduced to 100% pure apple cider syrup yet? Just as pure and fresh as tapping into an old sugar maple tree, North Coast’s apple cider syrup is made with only one ingredient…..apple cider! Put it in a pot and boil until it’s reduced down to a thick, rich glorious syrup. That’s pretty much all there is to it. Another easy-peasy trick from our kitchen to yours.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 gallons North Coast Apple Juice or Cider

Directions:

Pour cider in a large pot over high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 4-5 hours or until you have 4 cups of syrup. You will want to give it a nice stir every half hour or so. Let the syrup cool a bit on the stove before straining into individual bottles or mason jars. Refrigerate until ready to use. And yes folks, that’s all there is to it!
